Installation - Middle Yeast
Israel has always been a territory where different people, identities and spiritual ideas clash and met. Each of this external culture functioned as yeast in the formation of a solid Israeli identity. Integrated perfectly in the region of Middle East, the new Israeli identity itself is constantly transformed into yeast in the formation of new contemporary sub identities. The exhibition's title - Middle Yeast - is a play on words that will be highlighted graphically: by adding a Y you create an identity between the East and the "ferment" art scene.
The purpose of the exhibition is to expose the visitor to a new currents and waves that fertilize daily research of identity.
The exhibition highlight the cultural roots of artistic expression proposals and their vitality, open to new solutions and scenarios in fieri, as well as the link with Jewish culture and history.
